Across the world, farmers are rebelling against the forces that are chasing them from their land, destroying the environment and poisoning our food. From the landless workers’ movement in Brazil to organic farmers in Bangladesh and livestock breeders in France, their initiatives go well beyond agricultural techniques. By promoting family-based farming, they are defending a whole new set of environmental and social relations.
